Romney Marsh CC2150 Visioning and Action Planning Workshop
As local knowledge and perspectives are vital to the success of the project, we have engaged with local residents through the summer to collect their views how the project could support the community to minimise risk and maximise opportunities from environmental change.
To take forward our extensive public engagement, we are hosting two workshops (Visioning and Action Planning), which we invite you to attend, depending on your availability:
Workshop 1 (Visioning)
Aim: to identify, review, and prioritise risks and opportunities identified through the outreach phase of the project and use these to shape a vision for the future.
11 November, 9:00-13:30, St Mary’s Bay Village Hall, TN29 0SW
Workshop 2 (Action Planning)
Aim: to review the outputs from Workshop 1 (Visioning) and develop a draft action plan to work towards this vision including: generation of solutions, strategies and options, planning for implementation and future monitoring.
18 November, 9:00-13:30, St Mary’s Bay Village Hall, TN29 0SW
Through the workshops we will feed back what the community has told us about the risks and opportunities from environmental change for Margate and Cliftonville and develop a locally led vision and action plan to address these. The plan will then be consulted on prior to public launch in March 2014.
Please could you register your interest in attending one or both of these workshops at firstname.lastname@example.org by 31 October as space is limited.
